If you own your home or rent it from a private landlord, you may be eligible for a grant of up to £3,500 under the Warm Front scheme. The grants are available for improvements including the following:
- Gas, electric, LPG, or oil heating
- Glass-fronted fire
- Loft insulation
- Cavity wall insulation
- Hot water tank insulation
- Draught-proofing
You must be on one or more of the following benefits:
- Income support
- Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
- Pension credit
- Income-related employment and support allowance in the assessment phase (first 13 weeks of claim)
